Tangshan Caofeidian Tongxin Recycling and Utilization Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Caofeidian Tongxin") was founded in 2012 and is one of the earliest established and largest-scale enterprises in China specializing in the comprehensive development and utilization of metallurgical solid waste.
The company is located in Caofeidian District, Tangshan City, in the heart of the Bohai Rim region, covering an area of 318 mu. Its geographical location is extremely advantageous: it is only 60 kilometers away from Caofeidian Port and adjacent to the expressway network formed by Jingha, Tangjin, Tangcheng and Coastal Expressways, connecting water and land transportation hubs.
The company has a professional marketing team and technical R&D personnel, and possesses strong processing and production capabilities: it has an annual processing capacity of 3 million tons of steel slag and an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons of hot-pressed iron blocks, continuously leading the industry of metallurgical solid waste resource utilization.

Continuous investment in research and development has borne fruit, and the company has accumulated multiple invention patents and utility model patents. In 2018, the company successfully achieved a technological breakthrough, developing green mineral element fertilizers and environmentally friendly permeable paving bricks from steel slag, opening up a new path for the 100% resource utilization of steel slag.
The core product of the company is hot-pressed iron blocks. This product is refined through an innovative process: solid steel slag is crushed, magnetically separated, and water-cooled to form particle steel as the main raw material, which is then calcined in a rotary kiln and cast into shape. It has high metal purity and low content of harmful elements such as carbon, phosphorus, and sulfur, with excellent quality and wide customer trust. As a high-quality furnace material, hot-pressed iron blocks are widely used in blast furnaces, converters, and electric furnaces for steelmaking, effectively replacing some scrap steel as cold feed for steelmaking, significantly reducing smelting costs and improving smelting efficiency. Compared with iron ore smelting, it can greatly reduce the generation of waste slag and carbon emissions, making it a green and environmentally friendly product that highly aligns with the country's "dual carbon" strategy. Currently, the product market has fully covered 16 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities including Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the three northeastern provinces, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Shanxi, and Henan, with significant benefits from large-scale operations.
